Treatment of stomatitis in infants

Stomatitis in infants is quite common and this, in a sense, e depends on the parents. After reviewing the statistics of diseases, children up to six months old suffer from stomatitis. If the mucous membrane of the mouth becomes inflamed, then it is immediately necessary to sound the alarm, this is stomatitis. With stomatitis, swelling of the mucous membrane occurs, the child has painful sensations, and salivation increases. There are cases in practice when yellowing and whitening of the mucous membrane, bleeding in the gum region occurs.

The formation of small round sores that are yellow. During the disease with this type of stomatitis, the baby rises in temperature, lethargy, rash, cough, runny nose appear.

The occurrence of herpetic stomatitis occurs rarely in infancy, and in adolescence.

– catarrhal.

It is formed if the baby has poor oral hygiene.

– traumatic,

Education occurs due to trauma in the oral cavity.

Treatment of stomatitis in infants

There is a prescription of painkillers to introduce the child into the usual way of life, that is, start eating, without feeling pain and sleep. Healing agents eliminate the underlying disease, and the use of vitamins helps strengthen immunity. Stomatitis should be treated only with prescribed medications from a doctor.
